Chicago pastor, tutor charged with multiple felony sex crimes

Jeffery Parks, a 51-year-old tutor and pastor of Good Shepherd Church in Chicago, was identified as the offender who abused two victims on multiple occasions. According to police, the offender tutored the victims and during those tutoring sessions, he would inappropriately place his hands on the victims’ bodies. The two victims, twin sisters, have told about what happened to their mother during a conversation on inappropriate touching. Parks was tutoring the victims for three years before being reported to the police.

Parks was placed into custody on the 5200 block of South Blackstone on May 24th at approximately 9:15 PM and was charged with one felony count of Predatory Criminal Assault, victim under 13, and one felony count of Aggravated Criminal Abuse, victim under 13.

Parks appeared in Central Bond Court at 2600 S. California Ave. on May 26th, he’s being held on a $100,000 bond.
